There are times in life when you feel like letting everything go and giving up, that things are just too tough. Other times you may feel that life is just too rough and that the Lord has abandoned you.
Life isn’t easy. If it was, we wouldn’t learn anything from it at all. And when life get’s harder, we tend to forget the things that help us is these trying times. However, we should always keep in mind that God never forgets about you. He knows your path all too well and burdens come with the territory, even though you may not always like the road you’re on.
Some people who are usually not very religious turn to prayer in times of need, when they feel there is nothing more they can do. While some condemn them for not being truly Christian until they face life’s difficulties, we must all remember that the Lord loves each and every one of us equally, not just those people which everyday prayer is for them a common thing. Some might need to face the hardship of life so that they may be able to find God within themselves.
If you feel abandoned, if you feel like you’re on your own in this world. If you feel that there is no one looking out for you or protecting you from harm, remember the Lord is always with you, whether you choose to see him or feel him next to you. However, if you want to find God, all you have to do is look. For those who look within their souls and those who look beyond the material realm will find our Lord and welcome His warmth.
It is never too late to bring God into your life. Be open to His light and your life will not seem so dark. Once you find God and you keep His love with you, if you never forget that He has a plan for you and that you are more than your material existence, you will never have to feel alone and lonely.
Turn the pages of the bible and learn from them as you read. Let it change you and let prayer guide you towards a life alongside your Lord and Savior, for once you accept Him, He will guide you and keep you with Him.
